People that celebrate easter

The image of a city and the character. The colours that stand out are the purple suit and the gold tie which are the colours of the brand. The rest of the colours are dull, so the brand colours stand out

It is a video that uses CGI to create the character and the city.

Primary and Secondary Research

  • Differences between primary and secondary research: Advantages and disadvantages of each.
    • Primary research is original research that you conduct yourself, while secondary research is research that uses  faster and existing data.
  • What do you think you would need to research in order to make an effective advert for a product?
  • Your target audience, Conduct marketing research,
  • Primary research: what methods could you use to gather relevant information?            Asking people questions so they can give you the information you need.

  • Difference between qualitative and quantitative research: examples of questions for qualitative and quantitative answers. How could you display the results for each? Give an example.
  •  Qualitative research is exploratory and uses non-numerical data to understand experiences and ideas while quantitative research is objective and uses numerical fast data to organise measure variables.
  • Secondary research: Give examples of what you could use as resources. Why do you need to reference (give three reasons)?
  •  academic journals, books, government documents, newspaper articles, statistical databases, conference proceedings, primary sources like historical documents, interviews, surveys, incredible websites, documentaries, and even research reports from reputable organizations. The specific type of resource will depend on your research topic and field of study.
  •  This allows you to acknowledge the work of others to provide Information and evidence for your claims. To demonstrate the depth of your research, avoid plagiarism, and enable readers to easily locate the sources you used to support your arguments.
What is a tagline in terms of research? Difference between a tagline and slogan? What makes a great tagline?
Slogan is where you see supermakets, titles, and brands for example mcdonalds.

Radio advert editing

The software I used is Adobe Audition. I worked on a multitrack file.
The effects I use is the razor tool to cut out the part that did not want to use.
I also add background music. I wanted some soft music along with my script. I had to reduce volume on or of the background music so that the script could be heard clearly.
since the background track was not long enough I had to loop it. also it shows the loop sign at the end of the track.
I liked using the software the script turned out really well.

EVALUATION

Radio Advert

My advert had a lot of information about my product, such as unique details such as a customisable watch face, connecting to emergency services, navigation, activity tracking, etc. I wanted to highlight the customisable watch face feature, because you cannot do that for other watches- this makes my product unique. I am happy with the quality of the recording as well as the sound effects and background music I used. I was very happy with the background sound I used. I would have experimented with a longer track for my background sound if I had more time. I had to loop this track to make it long enough for my advert. I used Adobe Audition to edit my advert after recording it. I used the Razor tool to cut bits that I did not need. I also adjusted the volume levels on the tracks to make sure that script could be heard clearly. I also learnt how to loop a track in multitrack view. I heard some radio adverts for watches before I edited my own. I found that they all talk about the design and features of the watches. This is why I highlighted the bit about the customisable watch face in my own advert. Overall, I was really happy with the advert because it was a new software and technology that I got to use.
